I’m a cloud and infrastructure architect with a 25-year engineering career that began in enterprise networking and progressed through DevOps, platform engineering and technical consulting into cloud architecture, with a sustained recent focus on Google Cloud — a year built around Anthos on Bare Metal, followed by a Kubernetes and container platform engagement at LSEG where roughly 80% of my time has been on GKE. At Endava I’ve also led the architecture of a secure, event-driven trading platform on GCP built around Pub/Sub and GKE, combining hands-on architectural ownership with mentoring and growing the engineering teams that deliver it. My background spans AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, giving me a working view of what migrations off those platforms actually involve, but Google Cloud is where I now concentrate. Most of my career has run through consulting engagements rather than a single in-house team, including at Devoteam, a Google Cloud partner, and I’m most effective owning the statement of work, standing behind the architecture, and defending it directly with senior client technologists.
